What Bothers KAT About Knicks?

Sometimes, it takes a little bit for high-profile stars to continue their excellence on a new team. Especially when those players are moving from a low-profile team to one of the biggest in the league.

For the New York Knicks, that hasn't happened for their biggest newcomer - Karl-Anthony Towns.

The All-NBA center recorded 46 points in the team's 124-123 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday and is averaging over 26 points per game through the first 11 of the year.

One part of his game from Wednesday's loss pissed off the star, though.

Free-throw shooting. Towns, a normally strong shooter from the charity stripe, was a shocking 4-8 from the line. It was something that the center took full responsibility for, and made clear it wouldn't happen for long.

“Today was a disappointing display of free throw shooting by me. Even if it’s in and out, I expect to make them all," Towns said. “When you look back at the game, especially when you don’t come out with a win in a tough game like this, you look at everything you could have done in the mirror.

"You make some of those free throws, at least two to three of them, you put your team in a different position.”

Towns were seen after the loss shooting free throws in a way to quell his concerning night from the free-throw line. Even with the poor night, Towns is shooting over 80% from there to start the season.

The good news is that Towns has taken well to his new change of scenery with the Knicks. Now, it's just about putting his strong performances together and turning them into wins.
