Why Knicks Injury Report Inspires Anticipation

Although Minnesota Timberwolves Julius Randle acts like playing against the New York Knicks means next to nothing, the NBA universe believes otherwise. Furthermore, Thursday's reunion-turned-contest at the Target Center will air on national television, adding to the prideful implications of winning the game.

Thankfully, the injury report inspires significant anticipation for the fans in the stands and at home.

Randle hasn't played against the Knicks since the trade, leaving a burning fire in the fans to see how the beloved star will react to such a move. Despite Randle playing the apparent "no-comment" position rather well, a competitor doesn't forget.

The competitive fire will reveal itself on the court whether the franchise or player stands corrected after a trade. Furthermore, Karl-Anthony Towns' return to the franchise he called home for nine seasons adds to the theatrics of the nationally televised game.

The injury report, which typically features multiple stars, lacks such players. Without injuries, the competitive balance, the contest should, for the most part, have all the bells and whistles necessary to create an instant classic.
