The San Antonio Spurs dropped their first game of the Rodeo Road Trip, falling to the Memphis Grizzlies 128-109, but they did so without their second-best and newest player, De'Aaron Fox.

In a three-team deal, the Spurs acquired De'Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin from the Sacramento Kings for three second-round picks, four first-round picks, Tre Jones, Zach Collins, and Sidy Cissoko. The Spurs will get their first taste of the Victor Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox pairing on Wednesday night as they take on the Atlanta Hawks.

Keep it posted to Inside the Spurs for all the latest news, ranging from odds (via FanDuel), injury reports for both teams and TV information.

Atlanta has lost eight of the last ten games, and with the Spurs owning their 2025 draft pick, expect San Antonio to rub some salt in the wound.

The Spurs traded away Collins and will be without Bassey, so their frontcourt depth will be very, very limited, but the main show will be in the starting lineup: how good can Fox and Wemby be?
