Trump said she is optimistic about returning to golf “pain-free” and is focused on the rehabilitation process over the coming months.

She said in an Instagram statement: “Today, I underwent left wrist surgery to address injuries to the stabilizing tissues of my ECU tendon and damage to my triangular fibrocartilage complex.

“The surgery was successfully performed at the Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute by Dr. Thomas Graham, Chief of Jefferson Orthopedics. I look forward to my rehab ahead in the coming months. I am excited for the ability to play golf pain free!”

Kai Trump’s performance and experience at The ANNIKA

Earlier in the season, Trump made her LPGA debut at The ANNIKA tournament in Florida.

Competing as a sponsor exemption, she showed progress across both rounds despite early nerves.

After opening with an 83, she improved to a 75 in her second round, making four birdies in the process.

Trump averaged 241 yards off the tee and hit 11 of 14 fairways, while managing large galleries and increased attention.

Despite missing the cut, Trump’s composure and improvement under pressure drew positive reactions.

The experience offered valuable insight ahead of her upcoming move to the University of Miami golf program and a return to competition following recovery.
