The Washington Commanders are still fighting to keep their season hopes alive against the Seattle Seahawks this week, but there's plenty of college football to watch on Saturday.

Every year, there are way too many draft prospects to watch, so it's never too early to get your eyes on possible fits for the Commanders when the 2026 NFL draft rolls around. NFL mock drafts are also flying off the press right now, and it's a great time to familiarize yourself with the top players in the country.

Here's a look at three players I'm watching this weekend that I'd love to see on the Commanders next season.

Dani Dennis-Sutton, DE, Penn State

It's no surprise to anyone that the Commanders need to land a top pass rusher in the draft class if possible, and Dani Dennis-Sutton is one of the best. The Penn State pass-rushing factory is pushing out another robot, and Dennis-Sutton just knows how to make plays. It hasn't been the season anybody expected at all, and he never takes a play off, and is still one of the best in the country. The Nittany Lions have a tough test against the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the 6-foot-5, 265lbs lineman will need to make impact plays to have a chance to shock the world. He already has two forced fumbles on the season, and is looking to add more.

Chris Bell, WR, Louisville

The Commanders showed this season that they need to develop the wide receiver room as well and get a true playmaker on offense. Injuries have been a killer for the position, but so has age. Chris Bell is a threat with the ball in his hands, and honestly reminds me a lot of AJ Brown when he was in college. Bell is a big-body receiver at 6-foot-2, 220lbs, but he's also way faster than he should be. His stock has gone way up this season, especially after torching Miami's defense for 136 yards and two touchdowns, and he has Virginia Tech on the road this weekend.

David Bailey, DE, Texas Tech

Why not pick another one of my favorite pass rushers that you will hear me talk about until the draft? One word I would use to describe David Bailey is ruthless. He shows his elite twitch and speed to get around offensive tackles with ease. Bailey has a spin move that no one can stop, and he's already collected 11 sacks and 50 pressures this season. He's putting up elite numbers on a scary Texas Tech defense nobody wants to face, and Kansas State is the next victim for the 6-foot-3, 250lbs speed rusher.
