There's been no shortage of headlines made in recent NFL offseasons, and the 2026 offseason is shaping up to be another wild ride. Here are 25 bold predictions heading into the offseason.

Joey Bosa will sign in Cincinnati
Dale Zanine / USA Today Sports Images
Bosa's quest to win a Super Bowl didn't work out in Buffalo, but he stayed relatively healthy for the second straight year. With the possible loss of free agents Trey Hendrickson and Joseph Ossai, Cincinnati could be in desperate need for pass-rushing replacements. Bosa, an Ohio State alum, fits the bill.

A.J. Brown will be traded to New England
Mark Konezny / USA Today Sports Images
Brown has felt disgruntled in Philly over the last two years, and it might finally be time for the Eagles to do something about it. Despite adding Stefon Diggs last offseason, New England could still be in the market for more help at wideout and Brown has a history with head coach Mike Vrabel.
Corey Perrine / USA Today Sports Images
Etienne did well for himself in his walk year with Jacksonville, with 1,399 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns. With Kenneth Walker heading toward free agency himself and Zach Charbonnet suffering a major knee injury in the playoffs, Etienne could be a viable free agent replacement.

Breece Hall will reunite with Robert Saleh in Tennessee
Vincent Carchietta / USA Today Sports Images
Hall continued to produce with the Jets despite their anemic offense, with over 1,300 yards from scrimmage in three straight seasons. He's set to be paid heading into his age 25 season, and could be a fit to reunite with Saleh, the Jets former head coach, in Tennessee.

Trey Hendrickson will depart Cincinnati for Indianapolis
Katie Stratman / USA Today Sports Images
Hendrickson hasn't had a great relationship with the Bengals lately, and it appears likely he will move on in free agency. He had his most productive years while Lou Anarumo was the Bengals defensive coordinator, and could reunite in Indianapolis this offseason.

Tyreek Hill will return to KC
Gregory Fisher / USA Today Sports Images
After a catastrophic knee injury last season, there are questions whether Hill will continue his football career. He's likely to be released with the Dolphins having an out in his contract, and could be free agent flier if he tries to prove the old speed can return. Hill has already hinted on social media that returning to the Chiefs could be a possibility, and the team would love to have his speed back.

The Giants will trade for Marlon Humphrey
Kayla Wolf / USA Today Sports Images
The veteran Humphrey is heading into his walk year with Baltimore, and a trade could free up cap space for a team that needs it. John Harbaugh would likely welcome him in New York, where the Giants secondary could use work.

Jauan Jennnings will sign in Tennessee
Kyle Terada / USA Today Sports Images
Jennings' time in San Francisco has shown a clear ascent, with the tough wideout become a key Red Zone threat and willing blocker. It's the type of game that the Titans would welcome to complement Calvin Ridley and help young Cam Ward, and Jennings could follow Robert Saleh out of San Fran.
Kevin Ng / USA Today Sports Images
The Steelers must address quarterback again this offseason, among other spots. As they search for a long-term option under Mike McCarthy, Jones is a possibility. He has one year remaining on his deal with the 49ers, netting less than $4 million, and could be an answer for the Steelers to acquire and sign long-term.
Mark Konezny / USA Today Sports Images
Sean Payton is still fond of his old Saints players, and few had a bigger impact during his time than Kamara. He's clearly on the backend of his career, playing only 11 games and accumulating 4.0 yards per touch last season, but he could be a viable trade option to complement RJ Harvey.
Denny Medley / USA Today Sports Images
At times it's looked like 2025 would be Kelce's final season as he's set to marry in the offseason, but the tide has turned in recent weeks. After a disappointing season by the Chiefs, they brought Eric Bieniemy back as offensive coordinator. His return and the prospect of ending on a better note could be enough for Kelce to play one more year.
Jayne Kamin-Oncea / USA Today Sports Images
Mack missed time to injury in 2025 but continues to be an excellent pass rusher, recording 5.5 sacks and 11 hurries in 12 games. If he's unable to agree with the Chargers, the Rams could be a viable option.

D.J. Moore will be traded to the Steelers
David Banks / USA Today Sports Images
Moore didn't have his best season in 2025, and seemed to check out at times. The writing could be on the wall for a trade as the Bears lean into younger options, and the Steelers are among the teams desperate for wide receiver help.
Jerome Miron / USA Today Sports Images
Murray had another disappointing and injury-plagued season in Arizona. It won't be easy for the Cardinals to move his contract, but the quarterback-desperate Browns could be willing to take on the risk in a trade.
Steve Roberts / USA Today Sports Images
Oweh is arguably the top edge rusher on the market after recording 10 sacks in 2024 and 7.5 sacks last season. Washington is among the teams that could be a good fit for the free agent as they continue to remake their defensive line.
Amber Searls / USA Today Sports Images
Pickens exceeded the highest of expectations after he was acquired by Dallas last season, with over 1,400 yards and nine touchdowns. After trading Micah Parsons, the Cowboys could work Pickens in under the cap and still have plenty of draft capital to improve the defense.

Atlanta will make Kyle Pitts the highest-paid tight end in football
Mark J. Rebilas / USA Today Sports Images
Pitts has been inconsistent during his five seasons in Atlanta, but he's coming off a strong year with 88 catches for 928 yards. The tight end has been a key part of Kevin Stefanski's offense in the past, and the Falcons have the money to make Pitts the highest-paid tight end in football.

Aaron Rodgers will give it one more go -- with Minnesota
Michael Longo / USA Today Sports Images
There was plenty of speculation that Rodgers was in the final season of his career with Pittsburgh, but a relatively successful year could give him the drive to play one more campaign. Minnesota appears to be a fit after J.J. McCarthy's struggles, as Rodgers could work with the team's elite wideouts and help develop McCarthy in the process.

Deebo Samuel will be Vegas-bound
Bill Streicher / USA Today Sports Images
Samuel performed well in a disappointing season for Washington with 802 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns, but it remains to be seen if he will return. The Raiders are among the teams desperate for wideout help, as the team looks to support likely No. 1 overall draft choice Fernando Mendoza.
Steven Bisig / USA Today Sports Images
Shaheed and Sean Payton didn't overlap in New Orleans, with Payton departing following the 2021 season and Shaheed signing out of the draft in 2022. Still, he's likely very familiar with the explosive wideout and kick returner, and Shaheed's skillset would be a perfect fit for a Broncos squad that needs more explosive weapons.
21 of 25
Kyle Van Noy will follow John Harbaugh to the Giants
Mark Konezny / USA Today Sports Images
Van Noy had a disappointing season in 2025 with the Raves, recording only two sacks in 15 games. Still, his veteran presence has value and could make him a great fit to following John Harbaugh to New York and help develop the team's young stable of pass rushers.

Bobby Wagner will return to Seattle
Kirby Lee / USA Today Sports Images
Wagner seems to age like a fine wine, showing little sign of decline in Washington last season with 162 tackles and 4.5 sacks. He already returned to Seattle in 2023 after leaving once, and could cap off his career there as he tries to win another Super Bowl.
Bob Donnan / USA Today Sports Images
The Chiefs will surely be in the market for running back help as Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt are free agents. White is a strong fit as a Kansas City native with great versatility to fit in Andy Reid's offense, recording more than 1,000 yards from scrimmage twice in his four-year career.
Kayla Wolf / USA Today Sports Images
There's almost no doubt that Willis will be paid this offseason after developing behind Jordan Love the last two seasons. He's become a high-efficiency passer, adding to his strong mobility. The highest bidder could be the Jets, who struck out on Justin Fields last offseason but have the money to pay Willis.
Jayne Kamin-Oncea / USA Today Sports Images
Woolen has been upstaged at cornerback in Seattle by Devon Witherspoon, but he remains a physically gifted cornerback and playmaker. Arizona is among the teams that team help in the secondary, and could be set to pay big bucks to improve that area.
