While the potential of Aaron Donald returning to the Los Angeles Rams remains alive, it might end up happening later in the season tan many may have hoped.
It is now being reported that Donald could end up not being ready for the Rams’ Week 1 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers if he did end up returning to the NFL out of retirement.

Donald has complete multiple workouts with the Rams this offseason to determine if a comeback is actually possible. Donald, at 35 years old and having impacted the Rams’ organization as much as he did while he was playing, has earned the right to go at his own pace with this comeback of his.
Donald did retire on a productive note and would now get the chance to pair up with Myles Garrett. The Rams don’t need Donald back to win, but adding him to a defensive line with Garrett, Byron Young, Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske, and Poona Ford would virtually make the Rams unstoppable on defense.
