The Minnesota Vikings are hoping to have running back Aaron Jones for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Jones injured his shoulder during last Sunday's 27-24 win over the Detroit Lions. He compiled nine carries for 78 yards and two receptions for 20 yards before going down with the injury.
He was listed as questionable going into Sunday's game, but according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Jones is expected to play. Jones has compiled 27 carries for 139 yards, and seven receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown so far this season.
The Vikings come into this contest with a 4-4 record and are trying to stay in contention for a playoff spot in the NFC.
Jones is in his second season with the Vikings after spending seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers, who are also in the NFC North division. Jones finished the 2024 season with 255 carries for 1,138 yards and five touchdowns. He was a big reason why they won 14 games and made the playoffs.
The Vikings are currently in last place in the NFC North, but that's mainly because their entire division is so good. The Packers are in first place at 5-2-1, followed by the Lions and Chicago Bears at 5-3, and the Vikings at 4-4. The Vikings will face a Ravens team that is trying to turn their season around since they're only 3-5.
Kickoff for Sunday's contest will be at 1 p.m. ET on Fox. Kevin Kugler and Daryl Johnston will have the call.
