Aaron Rodgers has yet to announce whether he will return to the Green Bay Packers next season, and the team clearly does not want to make any assumptions … at least publicly.
The NFL announced on Monday that the Packers will play a game in London for the first time in 2022. Green Bay immediately put out a promo for the overseas trip that was a play on the Beatles’ famous “Abbey Road” album cover. You may notice that two of the team’s biggest stars were missing.

Adams is set to become a free agent. The Packers can, and likely will, use the franchise tag on him if they can’t reach agreement on a long-term deal. Nothing is in place yet, so it makes sense that they aren’t including him in promotional ads for next season.
It makes sense with Rodgers, too. The reigning NFL MVP has openly said he is undecided on his future. The Packers are trying to respect his process.
A recent report claimed Rodgers is seeking to become the highest-paid player in the NFL by a significant margin. Rodgers was asked about that and offered an interesting response.
