Kelce brothers reportedly inspired new trend

The Kelce brothers' popularity is soaring, so it's not surprising they seemed to have set off a new trend.

It appears people have taken to naming their four-legged friends after the NFL duo. Per pet sitting website Rover, Kelce is America's top trending dog name, enjoying a 135 percent increase. Rover told ESPN's Anthony Gharbib the brothers probably inspired this uptick.

In February, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce won his second Super Bowl. But that was a secondary to another event that has contributed to his rise in popularity Fanatics recently saw "nearly a 400 percent" increase in his jersey sales, and he gained 300K Instagram followers due to his rumored romance with 12-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift.

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, Travis' older brother, has earned five first-team All-Pro nods in 13 seasons and recently released a documentary about his career on Amazon Prime. He was also a finalist for People's "Sexiest Man Alive" list.

"New Heights," a weekly podcast the brothers host, has surpassed 1.5M subscribers on YouTube. Despite some challenges, it appears they've adjusted to their newfound fame.

"We really try to not let it affect us," Jason recently told People. "I think there are times you're out and about and whatnot, and it's hard just to enjoy being at an event or being out at dinner. But for the most part, everybody's very nice and generous, and either they are fans of the team, listening to the podcasts or all of our family."

In Week 11, the brothers face off in a Super Bowl LVII rematch on "Monday Night Football." The Chiefs have a slight edge at home. As of Wednesday, oddschecker lists Kansas City as a 2.5-point favorite.
It won't be shocking if the Eagles (8-1) and Chiefs (7-2) meet again in Super Bowl LVIII. ESPN Analytics gives both teams a 99 percent chance to make the playoffs.
