The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with two key injuries along the offensive line with Isaac Seumalo dealing with a shoulder problem and Mason Cole popping up on the team's practice report with a neck issue.

In the Steelers' loss to the Cardinals, Cole sent two bad snaps back to the quarterbacks. The first led to a sack for Kenny Pickett, and the second was a fumble recovered by the Cardinals on their own 21-yard line.

That turnover resulted in a touchdown to make the score 17-3.

The Steelers aren't worried about it.

"He's been very consistent. We're not going to make too big of a deal about it other than pointing it out because it was huge in the game," offensive coordinator Eddie Faulkner said. "He's a professional. He's going to go about his business the right way. We're going to have faith in him doing that."

Fans aren't pleased about the situation, sharing their displeasure on social media about how they'd like Cole benched moving forward. The team may be forced to look for an alternative because of injury, but if he's healthy, they won't be making a change.

And they probably can't even think about it.

Heading into Week 14, the Steelers will likely need to start backup Nate Herbig at left guard to replace Seumalo. That leaves them with Spencer Anderson, who is listed as a guard, as their next option on the interior.

Anderson played all five positions in college and spent time at all five spots during training camp this summer. Pittsburgh decided he would fit best as a guard, making him the third-string behind Herbig.

Even if Anderson would quickly be recommended over Cole from those on the outside, to those inside the building, they likely aren't thinking of benching their veteran for a seventh-round rookie with limited experience at center.

So, for now, don't expect change. Things can be different when Seumalo returns, but heading into Week 14 - unless Cole is forced to miss the week with his neck injury - he'll be the man sending snaps back to Mitch Trubisky.
