“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night,” Brown posted on X. “I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me.
“I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED. I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process. Thank you for the support and love.”
Moreover, gunshots were heard in several angles of the altercation on video circulating on social media, with TMZ Sports reporting witnesses alleged Brown is the one who fired off the gun in self-defense. Brown did not comment on that part of the video, at least not yet.
While Brown was roughed up a bit, TMZ Sports did note he joined Ross’ stream after the incident. It appeared he suffered no serious injuries from the matter.
Additionally, TMZ Sports reached out to Antonio Brown and his representation, as well as the Florida Highway Patrol and Miami Police Department for comment. So far, there’s been no word back on the incident.
