It’s a quick turnaround for the Arizona Cardinals following their first loss of the season on Sunday. Kyler Murray and Co. came close to going up 3-0 to start the campaign, but they came up just short against a surging San Francisco 49ers side, 16-15.
The Cardinals are back in action on Thursday night in a matchup against their NFC West rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately for Arizona, it is dealing with a myriad of injuries heading into Thursday’s home game at State Farm Stadium.
The Cardinals have already submitted their final injury report against the Seahawks, and it looks like they will be significantly shorthanded in this Week 4 matchup.

What pops out the most here is the fact that nearly half of Arizona’s offensive line is listed as questionable to play.
Paris Johnson Jr. (knee) and Will Hernandez (still recovering from a torn ACL) both sat out against the Niners with respective injuries, and it looks like neither starter will be ready to return on Thursday. Kelvin Beachum got the start against San Francisco with Johnson out, but now he, too, appears to be trending towards sitting out the Seattle game with a knee issue.
The fact that Zay Jones, who came out of the Niners' loss with a concussion, has already been ruled out for Thursday’s clash is more bad news for Arizona’s offense. This is on top of James Conner's season-ending foot injury against San Francisco.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Cardinals are dealing with injuries to cornerbacks Will Johnson and Darren Hall. Johnson, a second-round rookie out of Michigan, was forced to sit out against the Niners due to a groin injury, and this could be the case again come Thursday.
The lack of personnel on offense could leave Murray vulnerable, while the defensive shortcomings could open up Seattle’s passing attack. Either way, it appears that it’s going to be an uphill battle for the undermanned Cardinals for “Thursday Night Football.”
