Arizona Cardinals find fun new weapon for Kyler Murray, and a defensive makeover highlights latest 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft

The Arizona Cardinals just suffered a brutal loss to the Tennessee Titans over the weekend. This organization has shown some progress under head coach Jonathan Gannon, but it does still feel a bit stagnant. There are holes in this roster everywhere, and they will need to figure out a way to patch them up anyway they can.

The 2026 NFL Draft offers Coach Gannon and his Cardinals staff an opportunity to find some of those answers. In the latest 7-round mock draft, the team managed to get quite the haul of talent. That includes a fun new weapon for quarterback Kyler Murray and some much-needed defensive help.

Round 1, Pick 17: TJ Parker, EDGE, Clemson

Parker is one of the most frustrating players in the 2026 NFL Draft class. At times, he is an unstoppable pass rusher. The problem is that he disappears way too often. If the Cardinals can get the most out of him, then Parker could be a notable power rusher to build with.

Round 2, Pick 48: Christen Miller, DT, Georgia

While the box score isn’t anything crazy, Miller makes much more of an impact when you pop on the film. At 6-4 and 310 pounds, he is a long and powerful athlete who is hard to move at the point of attack. There is also penetration upside to tap into with Miller as well.

Round 3, Pick 79: Aaron Anderson, WR, LSU

With Marvin Harrison Jr. beginning to show signs of growth, the Cardinals have their big-bodied boundary receiver who can make some big plays. They also have tight end Trey McBride as a potent weapon in the middle of the field. They need a quick slot separator to bring it all together, and that is exactly the role that Anderson is going to play.

Round 4, Pick 114: Whit Weeks, LB, LSU

The Cardinals need to add more speed and playmaking potential in their linebacker room. Weeks is an old school player with a new school range. While he might guess wrong occasionally, there is no questioning his effort and intention to get to the football.

Round 5, Pick 152: Jude Bowry, OT, Boston College

Bowry has a nice blend of size, length, and foot quickness, but he hasn’t quite put it all together. There are still a lot of tools to work with for an offensive line coach on the NFL level. His technique and core strength are going to have to improve a ton moving forward.

Round 6, Pick 195: Le’Veon Moss, RB, Texas A&M

Moss is an outstanding runner with downhill power, contact balance, and vision to sort through traffic. Durability is the big concern for Moss, and it could cause him to drop down the board a bit. He could end up being one of the biggest values in the class and become the Day Three runner that everyone wants.

Round 7, Pick 236: Riley Mahlman, OT, Wisconsin

Mahlman is a bit stiff and inconsistent, but you can’t fake game experience on the offensive line. He is still a massive offensive tackle who has the physical profile to last on the next level. Being able to play a couple of different positions will be key.
