Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to get back on track in Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season, hitting the road to take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Both teams are coming off losses to AFC East teams in Week 10, as Mayfield and the Buccaneers fell to the New England Patriots, while Allen and the Bills fell flat against one of the worst teams in the NFL, the Miami Dolphins.
Still, entering Week 11, both Tampa Bay and Buffalo are sitting at 6-3 and are in a prime position to make the playoffs. Through nine games, Mayfield has had one of the best starts of his career, completing 200-of-312 passes for 2,192 yards, 16 touchdowns and two interceptions, while Allen, following up his MVP season in 2024, has completed 185-of-263 passes for 2,139 yards, 15 touchdowns and five picks.
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Mayfield discussed the challenge the Bills pose for the Buccaneers. When the conversation turned to the quarterback matchup, Mayfield cracked a joke about Allen, pointing out the Buffalo star’s "small hands" compared to his tall frame, even though Allen's hand size is just above 10 inches, almost an inch bigger than Mayfield's.
"I have to walkie-talkie to him because he's so damn tall, so I can't really have a face-to-face conversation with him," Mayfield said. "With Buffalo, it's cold, it's rainy. Even though he's 6'10", his hands are small, so he better wear his gloves."

Week 11 will mark just the third time Mayfield and Allen have gone head-to-head, with both quarterbacks securing one win apiece. The last time they met was in Week 8 of the 2023 NFL season, when Allen led the Bills to a 24-18 win over Mayfield and the Bucs.
Buffalo will host Tampa Bay on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
