The Miami Dolphins have had arguably the worst vibes in the league dating back to the end of last season — which is hard to do in South Beach.

And while the team isn't winless like its AFC East counterpart New York Jets, it's been just as ugly for Mike McDaniel's team, and Hall of Fame coach Bill Cowher doesn't like what he's seen at all.

The Dolphins fell to the Browns 31-6 on Sunday, in a game that saw quarterback Tua Tagovailoa complete just 12-of-23 passes for 100 yards with five total turnovers.

Miami's offense failed to score a touchdown against 2-5 Cleveland who was riding a streak of three consecutive losses coming into the week. But Cowher believes it wouldn't matter who you put in front of the Dolphins right now, they're a "disinterested" and "deflated" team.

Cowher points to 'issues' in Miami

Talking about the game on CBS on Sunday, Cowher called out a Dolphins team that he believes has mostly punted on the season just seven weeks in.

“The second half of that game, they looked almost disinterested,” Cowher said on "The NFL Today." “They looked deflated. They looked almost— there was nothing left in the tank. They almost disengaged. I’m just talking the way I saw it. Tua [Tagovailoa] turned the ball over four times. The defense gave up some big plays.”

“It will be interesting to see what happens down there,” the coach added. “There’s been a lot of talk about the lack of structure that they have inside the building… We don’t know what’s going on inside the building, because we’re not there. But we see the product that’s on the field. And right now, there’s some issues in Miami.”

Dolphins not ruling out benching Tua

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the ugly defeat, Mike McDaniel was asked about what conversations he'll have with his quarterback going into their next game.

“Yeah it will be tape-driven, I will have to take a look at the tape but before watching the tape, I don’t want to overconclude anything,” McDaniel began, via the team's official website. “I think, when you turn the ball over, you know, it is the number one indicator of wins and losses, and it negatively affects the team."

“Everything is on the table, when you go to a game you fully know you have the capability to win and get handed a very, very humbling loss," he concluded. "There’s no if and or buts about it, guys need to be professionals and step up to the plate, and every person on our team, if you’re saying it’s me, it’s you."

Obviously when you hear an unprompted quote like "everything is on the table" it's not a great sign for Tua Tagovailoa. But it very much remains to be seen how much longer McDaniel will even have the capability to make that decision.
