Bills Injury Report: Josh Allen can't be thrilled with the latest update, and the defense gets a huge boost seconds after practice
Gregory Fisher-Imagn Images

The Buffalo Bills had a lengthy injury report released on Friday, with more than a handful of surprises. Perhaps the biggest name to watch out for moving forward is that of tight end Dalton Kincaid. Kincaid has been a superstar on offense and has ascended to one of the very best at his position across the league through the early stages of the season.

He's dealing with an oblique injury, and his status for Week 6 remains uncertain, with only one more practice remaining before the game.

Outside of Kincaid, wide receiver Curtis Samuel did not practice after being limited on Thursday. It's a frustrating update for a player who has had to battle through injuries just to get on the football field. Much like Kincaid, his status remains in question for the game against the Falcons.

Buffalo got some good news after practice

The defense is looking a little banged up as well, with safety Damar Hamlin, rookie defensive tackle T.J. Sanders, and linebacker Matt Milano all being unable to practice. For Milano in particular, it's yet another frustrating update as he's just been unable to stay on the field for any long stretches as of late.

It wasn't all bad news coming out of One Bills Drive, and it's news that extended past the injury report. While defensive tackle Ed Oliver showed up as limited, the player himself spoke to the media after practice with an exciting update Bills Mafia is sure to love. Put plainly, Oliver said he's going to play in the upcoming matchup. He has been sidelined since the Week 1 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, and his return to the defense will surely provide a much-needed spark.

All that's left is to wait for a few key injury designations, and there's not much time to do it.
