Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, after starting the 2025 NFL season with a perfect 4-0 record, came back down to Earth in Week 5, falling to Drake Maye and the New England Patriots 23-20 thanks to a go-ahead field goal by kicker Andy Borregales with 15 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Now, the Bills will look to get back on track in Week 6, facing Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons on "Monday Night Football."
Despite the loss against the Patriots, Allen played well, completing 22-of-31 passes for 253 yards, two touchdowns and one interception while adding another 53 yards on the ground. But New England wideout Stefon Diggs was too much to handle against his former team, bringing in 10 catches for 146 yards. And while the Bills were relatively healthy in Week 5, their injury report has grown ahead of the Falcons matchup.
On Thursday, the Bills released their initial injury report for Week 6 and numerous names had been added to it. Four-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Dion Dawkins, who has not been on the injury report through the first five games, was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a thumb injury.
Third-year tight end Dalton Kincaid, who has dodged injuries this season as well, was also listed as a limited participant on Thursday with an Oblique issue. Kincaid has been Allen's favorite target so far in 2025, recording 20 catches for team-highs of 287 yards and three touchdowns.
Finally, wide receiver Curtis Samuel was limited as well with neck and ribs injuries. The former Ohio State national champion notably tallied two catches for 26 yards and his first touchdown of the season against the Patriots.
