Buffalo Bills training camp is just a few days old, and already tensions are high in the Western New York heat. With the pads on for the first day of full hitting at Tuesday’s practice, the offense and defense went after each other hard, and rookie defenders Kaleb Elarms-Orr and T.J. Parker were right in the middle of it all.
Once the teams got together for 11-on-11 work, there were several more incidents, including a few rookies getting involved,” Bills insider Sal Capaccio reported for Audacy.com. “First, it was edge rusher, TJ Parker, drawing a crowd and getting into a shoving match with one of the offensive players. Then towards the end of practice, offensive lineman Jude Bouie was in the thick of it and being held back.”
Then came the Main Event.
“The most notable dust-up happened when tight end Dalton Kincaid caught a pass, went to the ground, then as he got up, was drilled back down by linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr. That got plenty of offensive players upset and a pretty big crowd gathered with some pushing and shoving before everyone was separated.”

It wasn’t just the rookie mixing it up either. Before the 11-on-11 drills started, Alec Anderson, who is in a heated competition for the starting left guard spo t, got in a shoving match with star defensive tackle Ed Oliver.
The extra intensity at Bills training camp is not surprising, given that the team made a change at head coach this offseason. With the move from Sean McDermott to Joe Brady, the Bills front office sent a message to its players that it is time to up the intensity, and the rookies at least have responded in kind.
