Bo Nix turned in a spectacular clutch performance for the Denver Broncos on Sunday night as they pulled off an improbable 33-32 victory against the New York Giants in their Week 7 matchup. After failing to score in the first three quarters, Nix and Co. put up 33 points in the final frame to secure an awe-inspiring come-from-behind victory against a hapless Giants side.
Nix finished with 27-of-50 completed passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns, along with five carries for 48 yards and two rushing TDs. The second-year quarterback had another big outing in what has been an impressive run.
The Broncos came into Sunday’s contest on the heels of a three-game winning streak, which includes a 21-17 victory over the defending champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, in Week 5. After three quarters of play, Denver was down 19-0 and was staring at what should have been its third loss of the season.
Nix had other ideas, though. The former Oregon Ducks star led five scoring drives in the fourth quarter, with the last one resulting in a 39-yard game-winning field goal as the clock expired.
After the game, the Broncos took to social media to announce Nix’s historic achievement after his inspired performance in the final frame.
“Historic fourth-quarter performance. ” the team posted on X.

As indicated in Denver’s post, Nix is the first player in NFL history to record two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns in a single quarter. The fact that he achieved this feat in the fourth quarter to lead a highly improbable comeback victory makes the feat even more impressive.
After seven games played in 2025, Nix already has 160-of-256 completed passes (62.5%) for 1,556 yards and 11 touchdowns. The 25-year-old QB has also registered 38 carries for 172 yards and three rushing TDs.
The Broncos have improved to 5-2 after Sunday’s victory. Up next for them is another home game in Week 8 as they battle Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Oct. 27.
