Buccaneers’ Fans This is Not the Time to Get Complacent

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sit atop their division and also the conference with a 4 and 1 record. They’re coming off a tough cross  country victory over Seattle.

Suddenly the team and QB who most weren’t talking about very much are now the darlings of the NFL. I’m lucky enough to be retired because that’s the only way I’m able to watch all the podcasts that are in love with Baker and the Bucs. In the past, all this would lead to a possible letdown this week BUT the Bucs are facing the best possible opponent. The 49ers have won the last 4 meetings including a walk off FG last year. The Bucs won’t be complacent now. Furthermore they don’t care who the QB is (as of now it’s unknown who that will be). It doesn’t matter how many guys they have hurt. Whoever suits up, it will be a tough game. The difference between previous years is that the Bucs have a belief about them. They know the importance of this game.
Chris Godwin is slowly getting back into football shape. This is his third game and I think he’s ready to have a Godwin type game. Teams have seen what Emeka Egbuka can do so thos will open up the field to other guys. We saw the emergence of CadeOtton and Tez Johnson last week and that will continue vs San Francisco. Bucs won’t have to come from behind this week. Bucs 31 49ers 21 For more from Greg click here, then make sure to follow him on Twitter.
