Ronald Jones will remain atop the Tampa Bay Buccaneers depth chart entering Week 2 despite his Week 1 struggles against the Dallas Cowboys.

Jones disappeared from Thursday's season opener against the Cowboys after fumbling in the first half. He didn't return and finished with four carries for 14 yards on six snaps.
After the game, Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said that Jones "struggled mentally" to get over the fumble, which contributed to the decision to leave him on the sideline for the remainder of the game.
Jones, who is in a contract year, needs to improve if he has any hope of cashing in on a massive extension with the Bucs or signing a significant deal with a new team.
The 2020 campaign was the 24-year-old's best year. He ran for 978 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.
If Jones continues to struggle this year, the Bucs will likely use Leonard Fournette as their starting running back. For now, though, Jones is being given another chance. Hopefully he doesn't squander the opportunity.
