Buccaneers Shuffle O-Line Prior To Kickoff vs Atlanta

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to take on the Atlanta Falcons to open the 2025 NFL season. But apparently they aren’t as confident in starting left tackle Charlie Heck.

Via Fox Sports Greg Auman

“Bucs are making a surprise shift on the offensive line: Graham Barton goes to left tackle, Ben Bredeson starts at center, with Mike Jordan at left guard. For all the talk of confidence in Charlie Heck, they’re moving two players and starting a practice squad player instead.”

Moving three guys to replace one player seems counterproductive to a team that preaches continuity. That’s apparently how little confidence the team has in Charlie Heck.

We’ll update you as new information becomes available. But definitely a head-scratcher here. But it seems as though Heck has been benched before playing a down in 2025.
