Buffalo Bills Superfan Defends O.J. Simpson's NFL Legacy

The Buffalo Bills are receiving a lot of backlash this season for snubbing O.J. Simpson from their Wall of Fame at the new Highmark Stadium.

Before the 2026 season even started, Bills chief operating officer Pete Guelli confirmed that Simpson won’t be honored by the team. That decision led to a few protests before their home opener last Thursday night.

“O.J. is a big part of the Buffalo Bills’ history and will be forever,” activist Betty Jean Grant said. “You can’t change that. His name was never taken off the wall during any of the three trials.”

Corey Teed, a member of Bills Mafia, also believes the organization should honor Simpson at the new stadium.

“His personal life is his personal life. You put all that aside and you just make it about football, O.J. Simpson is the reason we started [putting] names on the wall,” Teed told OutKick. “If you go back far enough in Bills history and you look, you put all the legal stuff aside, the wife murdered, all that, and you look at football alone, and his stats, as a running back, he was the reason we started putting names on the wall.”
