The Chicago Bears drafted Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland in 2025. The team took the wide receiver at No. 39 in the second round, while they selected the tight end at No. 10 overall. They both impressed in their rookie campaigns, emerging as two of Caleb Williams’ favorite targets.

Burden will have a bigger role for Chicago next season following the trade that sent DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills. Loveland, on the other hand, will likely see more targets after proving his worth. The offensive duo played key roles in the Bears’ NFC North title and Divisional Round run in 2025.

Burden and Loveland have also formed strong bonds with their teammates. They are friends with them on and off the field, creating strong chemistry that will help bring more success to the franchise.

Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams surprises participants in teammates’ youth camp

Burden called Williams via FaceTime during his recent youth football camp with Loveland. The event took place for free in Rosemont, Illinois, and the quarterback’s gesture stirred excitement among the participants. Kids couldn’t contain their happiness as they crowded together to see Williams through the video call.

While it may seem just a short, lighthearted moment, it demonstrated the camaraderie the team has built. Teammates and coaches have praised Williams this offseason for his maturity and leadership, and he’ll look to lead his team deeper in the playoffs in 2026.

The Bears’ offense excelled last season, ranking as the third-best in the NFL. The unit scored 441 points, the third-most in franchise history. It also allowed just 24 sacks, which ranked as the third-fewest in the league.

Williams also aims to improve on his 58.1% completion rate for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
