Cardinals’ Michael Wilson and USWNT’s Sophia Wilson welcome first child

GLENDALE — Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson and his wife, USWNT star Sophia Wilson, welcomed their first child, the team announced on Thursday.

Michael and Sophia Wilson were married in January after getting engaged in June 2024. The couple has been together for more than six years, having met as freshmen at Stanford.

Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson is entering his third season with the team. Arizona selected him in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Stanford.

The Wilsons are entering an exciting new chapter, both on and off the field, with a new addition to their family and the NFL season approaching.
