GLENDALE – The NFL Top 100 list has been releasing weekly for the past few weeks, with this week revealing another Arizona Cardinals a part of the ranking. Newest signing Josh Sweat was ranked 95th overall for his prowess with the Philadelphia Eagles, and his new teammate tight end Trey McBride lands 30 spots ahead at No. 65.

McBride was second in catches, targets and receiving yards for all tight ends. The 25-year-old had a career third season in the NFL, increasing his receiving yards by 300+ and his catches by 30. The connection between him and quarterback Kyler Murray became quite apparent as the season progressed, with the duo dominating against opposing defenses. The only aspect hindering McBride was his lack of touchdowns, only recording two last season.
After earning his first Pro-Bowl selection and making it to the Top 100 list, the sky is limit for McBride and Arizona heading into 2025. The team aims to make a postseason run, and much of the responsibility will be on McBride to carry a significant amount of the load offensively. The 6’4 tight end is just entering his athletic prime and can easily make another appearance on the list next year even higher.
