The Chicago Bears are deep in their training camp in preparation for the 2026 season. However, they suffered a setback as Coby Bryant suffered a knee injury and will sidelined for the next 8-10 weeks. The good news is they have addressed with a crucial move and announced it on Friday.
Chicago had a lot of success last year, winning the NFC North and reaching the Divisional Round. General manager Ryan Poles and the front office added key veterans in the offseason to plug holes and address positional needs. The Bears aim to advance deeper in the postseason and continue turning doubters into believers with another strong run.
Chicago announced on Friday that it signed veteran defensive back Xavier Woods. The move was made to add more depth to the safety room as Bryant recovers. Fans shared their reactions to it on X.
