D’Andre Swift has been integral for the Chicago Bears amid their recent hot streak. Chicago has won four straight games entering Sunday’s Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, with the Pro Bowl running back playing a key role in their success. In six games played this season, Swift already has 89 carries for 419 yards and three rushing touchdowns. The former Georgia Bulldogs star has also registered 16 catches for 166 receiving yards and one TD.
Swift, however, was limited in practice throughout the week due to a groin injury, which put his status for the Ravens game in jeopardy.
Swift is officially listed as questionable to play against Baltimore. He missed practice entirely on Wednesday, but was upgraded to a limited participant for team practices on Thursday and Friday.
It is worth noting, however, that the 26-year-old RB went through the same pattern last week before being ultimately cleared to play. He had arguably his best game of the season, helping lead the Bears to a 26-14 win over the New Orleans Saints. He rushed 19 times for 124 yards, both season-high marks, scoring one touchdown.
The good news for Chicago is that it now appears that Swift will be good to go for Sunday as well, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

This is a significant development for Chicago and its running attack against a Ravens secondary that ranks 19th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed (806) this season.
Baltimore will host Sunday’s matchup at M&T Bank Stadium, with kickoff scheduled at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
