Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy showed lots of promise during his rookie season last year. The 28th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft played in all 17 games with 13 starts. He totaled 59 receptions for 638 yards and six touchdowns to go with 20 carries for 104 yards and three more scores on the ground.
The uber-explosive 22-year-old has played in eight of the Chiefs' first 10 games of this season. He missed two games early in the year with a shoulder injury after going down in the season opener after he collided with his teammate, Travis Kelce.
Worthy returned from that injury in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens and has played in every game since.
When he has been on the field this season, Worthy has been productive. He's totaled 27 receptions for 281 yards and one touchdown in the passing game. He has also carried the ball seven times for 73 yards.
Heading into a key matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Worthy's status was in question again, as he has been dealing with an ankle injury.
On Sunday, Kansas City confirmed his final injury status; he was not listed among the inactives for the Chiefs against the Colts.

This is great news for head coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs, as their star wideout will play against Indianapolis.
The Chiefs and Colts (8-2) will kick off at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium on CBS.
