Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs saw their three-game winning streak snap following their Week 9 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Now, following a bye, the Chiefs will look to get back on track in Week 11, heading to Mile High City to face the Denver Broncos, who happen to be the top team in the AFC West with an 8-2 record.
Mahomes has continued his strong play nine games into his ninth season, throwing for 2,349 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions, while adding 285 yards and four scores on the ground. He has done this despite missing several key weapons throughout the year, including wide receivers Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy and left tackle Josh Simmons. But ahead of the Denver matchup, Kansas City elected to bring back a familiar face.
Jimmy Holiday, after spending his college career at three different schools, went undrafted in 2025 before being picked up by Kansas City. The former Tennessee and Louisiana Tech wide receiver spent most of the 2025 NFL season on the practice squad, but in light of the Chiefs signing defensive lineman Malik Herring, Holiday was released shortly after the trade deadline.
However, on Wednesday, just a few days before the key AFC West showdown, the Chiefs elected to bring back Holiday, re-signing the rookie to the practice squad.
"The Chiefs re-signed WR Jimmy Holiday to the practice squad," A to Z Sports' Charles Goldman wrote on X.

As Holiday still awaits his NFL debut, the Chiefs will look to keep a winning record in Week 11, facing the Broncos on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
