Patrick Mahomes was the talk of the town in Week 15.

While many weeks all eyes are on the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback for a big-time play or any successful developments with his team, Week 15 showed a different case.

Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in a 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. After the loss in Week 15, the Chiefs fell to 6-8 on the season.

Chiefs star defensive tackle Chris Jones spoke on Mahomes' injury after the game, clearly showing emotion from the loss of the Kansas City quarterback.

"I just hugged him, man," Jones said. "That's my brother. We've been through so much."

Patrick Mahomes finished the game against the Los Angeles Chargers with three interceptions. The Kansas City Chiefs have been struggling all season and their Week 15 showing seemingly sums up the rest of the year.

With the loss to the Chargers, the Chiefs were eliminated from the playoffs. They earned their third straight loss and will have three games remaining, likely turning to backup quarterback Gardner Minshew to lead the offense.

Chris Jones and Patrick Mahomes have been two of the biggest stars on the Kansas City Chiefs for years, striving under head coach Andy Reid.

They have been able to lead the Chefs to multiple Super Bowl titles, with Jones leading the defense and Mahomes leading his respective unit.

While the Chiefs were viewed as Super Bowl contenders heading into the season, they'll head back to the drawing board and await Mahomes' return.
