Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Announces Career News on Wednesday

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs had a tough go of it during the 2025 NFL season, finishing with a 6-11 record and missing out on the playoffs for the first time in a decade. To make matters worse, Mahomes went down with a torn ACL in Week 15, ending his year early.

But Mahomes, despite not playing in the preseason, is expected to be ready to play when the Chiefs host Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos in Week 1’s edition of “Monday Night Football,” which will begin the former Texas Tech quarterback’s 10th season in the NFL.

Throughout his NFL career, Mahomes has built a solid portfolio off the field as well. He owns stakes in numerous sports teams, including the MLB’s Kansas City Royals, the NWSL’s Kansas City Current and the MLS’ Sporting KC. Not to forget his steakhouse, 1587 Prime, with Travis Kelce.

Mahomes has also partnered with numerous major brands over the years, including Adidas, CommunityAmerica Credit Union, Hugo Boss, Invisalign and many more, adding to his own personal off-field brand.

And on Wednesday, while no partnership has been confirmed, Mahomes shared on his Instagram his new photoshoot, rocking an outfit by the French luxury fashion brand Givenchy.

However, this would not be the first time Mahomes has worn Givenchy for a photoshoot. In fact, the Chiefs star recently appeared on the cover of Flaunt Magazine Issue 204, with a featured story titled “The Beautiful Game.” In that photoshoot, Mahomes not only wore Givenchy pants, but also donned a Balenciaga jacket and shirt, Bally boots and a Hublot watch.
