When the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil in Week 1 of the NFL regular season, they'll be apart of the NFL's first-ever exclusive YouTube broadcast. To make things even more fun, when the two teams head into the locker room for half time, KAROL G will be putting on a halftime show for everyone in attendance and watching from home.

From the NFL's official statement:
"A member of YouTube’s “Billion-View Club” with nearly 30 billion views on her YouTube channel, KAROL G has solidified her place as one of the most powerful forces in global music captivating audiences with her boundary-pushing sound and chart-topping hits. Her latest release Tropicoqueta has amassed over one billion streams across platforms, with the music video for her single “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” earning over 947 million views on YouTube to date. Amplifying her record-shattering streak, the album marked KAROL G’s third consecutive Top 3 entry on the Billboard 200 chart and fourth consecutive #1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and earns the largest streaming week of the year for a Latin album by a woman. Additionally, she broke her own record on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, landing 20 songs simultaneously including 18 debuts from Tropicoqueta. With a set of barrier-breaking achievements, she continues to trailblaze in the global music world and beyond."

For those who are interested in learning more about KAROL G, she has a documentary on Netflix titled "KAROL G: Tomorrow Was Beautiful", which is a deep dive into her career.

KAROL G to perform at halftime of Chiefs/Chargers Week 1 game in Brazil

Chiefs fans are no stranger to having a massive halftime show production taking place during one of their games, as the team has appeared in five of the last six Super Bowls. While Week 1 in Brazil won't have the same feeling as a Super Bowl, it's still going to be a big event there so why not give those in attendance a great game and a show?

This won't be the first time the Chiefs will play overseas, as they played in London during the 2015 season and Germany in 2023. Now they're continuing to expand on their international horizons with a game in Brazil against their division rivals.

Fortunately, this counts as a home game for the Chargers so Arrowhead Stadium will still get to host nine games this year. Their first game of the 2025 regular season should be a lot of fun though and anyone who happens to be a football and KAROL G fan will be having themselves a blast.
