Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has one complaint about league's Taylor Swift coverage

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has one complaint about the NFL's ongoing coverage of his relationship with superstar singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.

"They are overdoing it a bit for sure, especially my situation," Kelce said on the most recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast. "They’re just trying to have fun with it."

According to a report by the New York Post, NBC cameras flashed to the 12-time Grammy Award-winner in the suite at MetLife Stadium 17 times during the Chiefs' Week 4 win over the New York Jets on "Sunday Night Football."

"Damn, that's crazy," Kelce said. "That’s like once a drive. Mom told me everyone was enjoying themselves."

Earlier this week, the NFL established itself as an official "Swiftie" when they changed its banner photo on X, formerly known as Twitter to three images of Swift cheering during the "SNF" contest. The league also changed its bio on X to read "we had the best day with you today."

Additionally, the NFL briefly changed the bio on its Instagram account to "Chiefs are 2-0 as swifties," but swiftly removed the words after receiving backlash. In a statement to the New York Post, the league said that they "frequently change (their) bios and profile imagery based on what’s happening in and around (the) games, as well as culturally."

The "22" singer nearly broke the internet with her September appearance at Arrowhead Stadium during Kansas City's Week 3 contest against the Chicago Bears. Swift was spotted sitting in a stadium suite with Donna Kelce (the mother of Travis and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce).

After Kelce and company blew out the Bears, the pair of 33-year-old celebrities were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium together. The New York Post further reported that the duo spent time at Swift's New York City apartment before the game against the Jets.

Kansas City takes their 3-1 record into Week 5, where they'll face the Minnesota Vikings at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday on the road. The New York Post reported that it's "unclear" if Swift will be in attendance.
