Colston Loveland reacts to Chicago Bears teammate’s personal news

Colston Loveland had an impressive rookie season for the Chicago Bears. Loveland was the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The 21-year-old tight end played in 16 games, starting 11.

Loveland struggled early in his NFL career, only recording two catches and gaining 12 yards in his first two games. Despite that, he found his footing in Week 9 when the Bears faced the Cincinnati Bengals. The Michigan alum scored his first NFL touchdown during that game. He also scored the game-winning touchdown as he caught a 58-yard pass to secure the win.

The Bears rookie finished the season with 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns.

Colston Loveland cheers on his Chicago Bears teammate Kyle Monangai

Loveland helped the Bears win the NFC North title in his rookie year. Chicago finished with an 11-6 record, their best record since 2018. Unfortunately, the Bears failed to reach the Super Bowl in 2025.

After their Wild Card Round win over their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, the Bears lost in the Divisional Round. They bowed down to the 2021 Super Bowl champs, the Los Angeles Rams.

Now that the NFL offseason is officially underway, teams are preparing to upgrade their roster for the upcoming season. As for the players, they are ramping up their workouts to help their squads next season.

Loveland’s Bears teammate Kyle Monangai, on the other hand, will be hosting a youth football camp this May.

The 23-year-old running back announced the Kyle Monangai Youth Football Camp via his official Instagram account. His camp will be held on May 30 at Centennial High School in Champaign, Illinois.

Loveland commented on the personal news from his fellow 2025 NFL Draft class member, saying “FTK,” which means “For The Kids.”

This is big news, especially for the rookies, as they understand the importance of camps for young athletes. Despite only playing in Chicago for one year, Monangai is already giving back to the community.

Loveland is fully supportive of his teammates’ news. He kept his reaction short and sweet, but there’s no denying that there’s nothing but love from these two rising Bears stars.
