Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton said he was "very close" to returning to the field on Tuesday, and now we know his fate for the team's matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Hilton has been taken off the injury report and will play for the Colts. He has been a full participant in practice this week.
#Colts WR T.Y. Hilton, who missed last week with a groin injury, is off the injury report and will play tomorrow vs the #Titans.

Hilton injured his groin during Week 8 and sat out last week against the Baltimore Ravens.
The 30-year-old has had a subpar season thus far, failing to score a touchdown in seven games and exceeding three receptions in a game just twice. With 22 receptions for 251 yards on the year, Hilton has been very disappointing in his ninth season with the Colts.
Against the Ravens, veteran quarterback Philip Rivers distributed the ball pretty evenly among his receivers. Michael Pittman had four receptions for 56 yards while Zach Pascal had five catches for 55 yards.
With Hilton continuing to struggle, it wouldn't be surprising to see Rivers opt to target other receivers on Thursday.
