Commanders star quarterback Jayden Daniels is in jeopardy of missing his second straight game this Sunday against the Falcons as he nurses a knee sprain. If that happens, Atlanta will be up against a familiar foe, Marcus Mariota, who led the Commanders offense to over 400 yards and 41 points in their matchup with the Raiders.
Additionally, Washington could be without top wide receiver Terry McLaurin. Adam Shefter reports McLaurin is searching for more information about his quad injury and is uncertain to play against the Falcons.

McLaurin is one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the game. He’s recorded five consecutive 1,000-yard seasons and had a career-high 13 touchdowns last season. It would be a massive loss for the Commanders, especially against a Falcons team that could be without top cornerback A.J. Terrell, who is nursing a hamstring injury.
