Cowboys' Osa Odighizuwa Enters Oxnard With Playoff 'Belief'

Training camp is upon the Dallas Cowboys and Brian Schottenheimer with the franchise looking to continue the good vibes and positivity that has been coursing through the veins of the organization.

While we have seen some players stand out at OTAs and minicamp, we know that the true test comes in Oxnard with the pads come on, and the day after day grind sets in.

Not many are resolute in their thought of the Cowboys being a playoff team under Schottenheimer in Year 1, but there is no doubting the talent of the roster; it just has to all come together.

And for defensive stud Osa Odighizuwa, he's excited by the pieces that have assembled this offseason.

"I go into that belief," Odighizuwa said on if Dallas is a playoff team. "I go into that every season with that belief. You know what I mean? But I'm excited about the talent that we have on this team for sure."

The talent on the defensive side of the ball starts with Micah Parsons, Osa, DaRon Bland, Sam Williams, Marshawn Kneeland, Marist Liufau, Donovan Ezeiruaku, and Shemar James, with Trevon Diggs and Shavon Revel Jr. still working back from their injuries. So, there are some good pieces for Matt Eberflus to work with.

Offensively, the Cowboys, with Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Jake Ferguson, coupled with an improved offensive line and revamped run game, have all the pieces needed to make something happen.

Of course, there are skeptics about what the Cowboys will amount to under Schottenheimer, but half the battle is believing in what you are doing.

And it's clear to see that Osa, along with his teammates, are picking up what Schottenheimer is putting down, with Dallas only having eyes for playoff football.
