Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is having a career season.

Through the first 13 games of the year, he has recorded 3,637 yards, 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Prescott is widely considered an MVP candidate, along with stars such as Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Prescott has also been active off the field and in the community.

He started the Faith Fight Finish Foundation after his mother passed away from colon cancer and his brother passed away from suicide.

The Faith Fight Finish Foundation focuses on mental health, cancer research, bridging the gap between law enforcement and communities, and uplifting the community as a whole.

As part of the Faith Fight Finish Foundation, Prescott set up cancer screenings for the Cowboys staff, and Tad Carper, the Cowboys' senior vice president of communications, was diagnosed with Stage 2 throat cancer.

It was early enough to save his life, and Prescott spoke on it.

"I don't know if it's something I really could ever put into words." Prescott said. "I know how many people aren't fortunate of that. To just play a part in it is more than enough. This word cancer is daunting, but not when you find it in Stage 1, Stage 2, and we have the resources and the ability to fight it as we do now."

Prescott has been with the Cowboys since being drafted in 2016.

He is a three-time Pro Bowler, second-team All-Pro and the 2022 Walter Payton Man of the Year.

Dallas (6-6-1) hosts Minnesota (5-8) at 8:20 p.m. ET Sunday on NBC and Peacock.
