The Dallas Cowboys had a tumultuous season in 2025. They finished the year with a 7-9-1 record, which had them in second in the NFC East, as Dallas missed the playoffs for the second consecutive season. Despite what the record shows, the Cowboys had a very impressive offensive attack.

Quarterback Dak Prescott had a great year under center, completing 67.3% of his passes for 4,552 yards and 30 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. One of his top targets this season and over the past few years has been tight end Jake Ferguson.

Ferguson, who has spent the past four years with the Cowboys after being taken in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by Dallas, has had quite an early career.

Across the four seasons, Ferguson has played in 64 games with 48 starts, totaling 231 receptions for 2,029 yards and 15 touchdowns. This past year was one to remember for the 27-year-old, as he hauled in 82 passes for 600 yards and eight scores.

His reception total was good for second on the Cowboys, behind only wide receiver George Pickens, and tied for third among all NFL tight ends.

On Wednesday, the Cowboys shared on social media that Ferguson was selected to play in the Pro Bowl, representing the NFC as a replacement for San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

".@jqfergy11 is Pro Bowl Bound ⭐️," the caption read.

This will be the second Pro Bowl appearance for Ferguson after he made the roster for the 2023 season as well. He joins Prescott, Pickens, offensive guard Tyler Smith, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and kicker Brandon Aubrey as the players selected from the Cowboys.

The 2026 NFL Pro Bowl Games will be held in San Francisco, California, on Feb. 3, which will feature a flag football game and a skills competition.
