Quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have had an up-and-down start to their 2025 season. The Cowboys are 2-3-1 through their first six games, with losses to the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, and, most recently, the Carolina Panthers.
Prescott has not been the issue for Dallas this year. The 32-year-old has completed 71.6% of his passes for 1,617 yards and 13 touchdowns with just three interceptions. He also has one score on the ground, as the 10th-year quarterback is back in form after missing nine games last season due to injury.
Although Prescott hasn't struggled, the Cowboys' offense has been missing a few key pieces in recent weeks that would be huge to get back.
On Monday, one day after Dallas was upset by the Panthers 30-27 in a game that ended in a last-second field goal, Cowboys COO Stephen Jones spoke about the team's recent play and the chance of getting three offensive weapons back.
During his interview with 105.3 The Fan, Jones said it is possible that wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and KaVontae Turpin and offensive guard Tyler Booker will play next week.
"#Cowboys COO Stephen Jones says on @1053thefan that WR CeeDee Lamb, OG Tyler Booker and WR KaVontae Turpin could potentially play this week against the #Commanders," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport wrote.

Booker, who was the Cowboys' first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, started the first three games of the season at right guard. However, he suffered a high ankle sprain against the Bears in Week 3, which has kept him out ever since.
Turpin has missed Dallas' last two games with a foot sprain he sustained in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers. So far this season, Turpin, who plays wide receiver and returns kicks for the Cowboys, has 11 receptions for 159 yards and one touchdown.
Lamb is Prescott's top target in the wide receiver room. He was playing unbelievably to begin this season, as he caught 16 passes for 222 yards through the first two weeks. Like Booker, Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain against the Bears, which has caused him to miss three more games.
If all three of these players are able to go against the Commanders on Sunday, it would most certainly be a positive note for a Cowboys team that is trying to find some rhythm.
Sunday's matchup kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will air on Fox.
