Dallas Cowboys to be down 2 more key offensive starters vs Green Bay Packers

The Dallas Cowboys are not off to a good start this season, and it does not appear that their road to relevance is going to get any easier anytime soon. A nail-biting win over the lowly New York Giants is the only win they have so far this season, and their most recent loss was a 31-14 humiliation against the Chicago Bears, whom many believe will not be very good this season either.

To be fair, the Cowboys have a pair of games against very beatable teams coming up when they take on the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets. But before they get to that stretch of games, they first must take on their former defensive star Micah Parsons and his new team, the Green Bay Packers.

And they are going to be far from full strength on offense when that matchup takes place next Sunday night.

The Dallas Cowboys will be without CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Brook vs the Green Bay Packers

Dallas was already without their starting center, Cooper Beebe, who is out for six-to-eight weeks with a high ankle sprain. Unfortunately, the games against Chicago was not the only thing the Cowboys lost on Sunday, as two more of their most important offensive players suffered ankle sprains as well.

All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who already has 222 receiving yards this season, is going to miss time with a high ankle sprain. Per Michael Baca of NFL.com, he is expected to be out at least two games, which means he will not be able to play against the Packers on Sunday night.

Additionally, rookie offensive lineman Tyle Booker suffered a high ankle sprain against Chicago, though unlike Lamb, he finished the game. Despite this gritty performance, though, Dallas expects Booker to be out for the next four-to-six weeks with his injury.

This injury presents a tough situation for Dallas, as Parsons is coming to town with his new team. In addition to the former Cowboys star, Green Bay boasts Pro Bowler Rashan Gary, who leads the NFL with 4.5 sacks this season.

With 40% of their preferred starting offensive line unable to play, the Cowboys will have to find a way to keep Dak Prescott upright, a task that will be easier said than done.
