The Washington Commanders are set to face the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
Entering the game, the Commanders had three wide receivers on the injury report: Deebo Samuel, Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown.
Samuel has been dealing with a heel injury that kept him out of practice on Thursday and Saturday, while he was limited on Friday. His status was then set at questionable and then updated before the game.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported via Lisa Salters that "Commanders WR Deebo Samuel, listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Bears due to a heel injury, is expected to play."

This is big news for the Commanders, who would have been without their top two pass catchers in this one if he was ruled out.
Samuel has been Washington's best wideout so far this season, with McLaurin only playing in three games. He's caught 30 passes on 38 targets for 300 yards and three touchdowns.
Samuel is in his first season with the Commanders after he was traded this offseason from the San Francisco 49ers.
He had his best season in 2021 when he was named a first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler. That year, he recorded 1,405 receiving yards.
