Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson didn't get to play with Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins at Clemson, but he wants to join up with the fellow Tiger in Cleveland.
Watson discussed the prospects of adding Higgins with his throwing coach Quincy Avery.
"We wanna pass the ball. That's what we gonna do. We gonna pass it a lot. And we gonna take good care of you," Watson said. "The Cleveland fans are gonna love you to death and we got the Clemson ties. We didn't get to play with each other but this is our opportunity. So like man come on over to The Land."
Cleveland ranks 27th in the NFL with negative cap space right now as they continue to search for help around Watson. The passer has been one of the NFL's worst players at his position since taking over as the starter in Cleveland following his suspension.
Bengals fans won’t like this, but #Browns QB Deshaun Watson openly advocated for the team to sign soon to be free agent WR Tee Higgins today on their podcast⬇️⬇️
