Throughout his career, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been known for two things.

For starters, he was tabbed as the perfect quarterback prospect as both a recruit and as he prepared to make the jump from college to the NFL. The Clemson product who led the Tigers to a title as a freshman was frequently compared to Andrew Luck in terms of his NFL preparedness.

The other thing he was commonly known for and may have been his calling card was his luscious, long blonde hair. Often viewed as a model player and someone who could be a model, Lawrence's hair has become synonymous with his brand, similar to the likes of Troy Polamalu.

With teams across the NFL announcing their schedules on Thursday, the Jaguars did so with a video that centered around Lawrence cutting his hair.

While it's truly unclear if he cut his hair, Lawrence did add fuel to the fire with a comment he made.

"Man, I've been wanting this cut for a long time," Lawrence said.

The video then pans to what appears to be his chopped hair being swept up by the barber.

Considering an AI picture of Lawrence with short hair went viral earlier in the offseason, fans are quite skeptical that the fifth-year quarterback that the haircut is legit.

It may also help fans feel better to know that Lawrence's wife, Marrisa, posted a picture of them two days ago, and that Lawrence had long hair.

Regardless of the lettuce on his head, Jags fans are likely hoping that he can continue to play at the level he displayed in 2025. Lawrence led the Jags to a 13-4 record, throwing for 4,007 yards and a career-high 29 touchdowns en route to finishing fifth in the MVP voting.

The Jags and the potentially short-haired Lawrence will open the season on Sept. 13 against the Cleveland Browns.
