Diggs’ Brothers could help the Dolphins Post June 1st

After the first few weeks of free agency, the Dolphins are still sorely lacking in a couple of positions on the field.

While they should add a couple of players at both wide receiver and cornerback, Miami should add more depth to those rooms when $20 million opens up post-June 1st, when the team officially releases Bradley Chubb.

When that happens, they should make two calls to the same family.

With that, Miami could add wide receiver Stefon Diggs and cornerback Trevon Diggs.

For the older brother, Stefon, he would add a proven, productive playmaker at a position that Miami desperately needs more of.

Even at 32 years old, he would instantly become the top target for the Dolphins.

Last year in New England, Diggs totaled over 1,000 receiving yards, and he is just two years removed from a 107 catch season in Buffalo.

Not only is he productive, but Diggs is durable as he has played at least 15 games in his last eight seasons.

If Miami could add Stefon, they would have a great chance of adding his younger brother, Trevon, as well.

Trevon, only 27 years old, would add the same kind of cache that his older brother would provide, this time to the cornerback room.

Even though he struggled with injuries in 2025, Diggs would be worth the gamble.

Taking a flier on a player who is 27 years old and has the ability to rack up 11 interceptions in a single season would be well worth it for Jeff Hafley and company.

Plus, Diggs played under Hafley just last year when he tallied an interception in his lone start for the Packers after he was released by the Cowboys late in the season.

Miami is going to be one of the youngest teams in the league in 2026.

With that, they would do well to add some veterans post-June 1st as a way for older players to show younger players in their position rooms how to play the game the right way.

To accomplish this, the Dolphins’ brass should look to the Diggs’ brothers in 2026.
