The Falcons have recently received multiple calls regarding Pitts, after months of trying to find a suitable trade partner. At the Falcons OTA's though it was discovered that Pitts is dealing with an injury according to Head Coach Raheem Morris.
With Pitts heavy on the trade market and in his last season under contract, this injury could impact his market if the injury is serious. At the moment there is not much around the injury, but it is keeping Pitts out of OTA's for the time being.
Pitts is coming off another underwhelming season that led to him being in many trade rumors that started before the trade deadline. Many teams like the Giants, Cowboys, Jaguars and others around the league have shown interest in the former 4th overall pick.
The injury that Pitts is dealing with has not been fully disclosed, so no indication on whether it is a long-term injury or short-term one, either one could affect his trade value. A long-term injury could cause teams to back out, while a short-term could have a few teams still very much intrigued in Pitts.
Pitts was also thought to look for a holdout for 2025, but that was put to rest by Morris. Pitts is looking forward to playing in 2025 whether it is with the Falcons or any team that trades for him before the season starts.
The Pitts injury will be closely monitored by not just the Falcons, but any team that is interested in adding Pitts to their roster.
