Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome injury during Monday night's Week 4 matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets. Prior to the injury, Hill showed flashes of the speedy wide receiver the NFL world grew accustomed to watching streak down the field for the Kansas City Chiefs.
It was on Hill's sixth reception of the game, though, when he would go down awkwardly, suffering an injury that immediately caused concern for all those involved or watching at home.
The 31-year-old WR had to be carted off the field after his leg was stabilized, and he was ultimately rushed to a nearby hospital. While the extent of the injury couldn't immediately be determined, a trip to the hospital was deemed necessary.
While Hill's parents and other family members reportedly joined him at the hospital, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, joined him as well. Rosenhaus then took the time to do an interview with Josh Moser of WSVN 7News, providing an update on Hill's injury from a hallway inside the hospital.
"Doctors have told me he dislocated his knee, which I think was apparent for everyone who watched the horrific play. But what that means, and the extent of the damage, and whether he'll need surgery, to what extent, all of that we should find out within the next couple hours," Rosenhaus said.

Rosenhaus went on to explain exactly what doctors would be doing to determine the extent of the injury.
"He's getting an MRI and a CT scan to determine the extent of the damage. Are there any torn ligaments, is there torn cartilage, are there any broken bones, to check on the blood flow, any, God forbid, nerve damage?" Rosenhaus said. "All of this is getting checked out."
It appears more details of Hill's injury will be revealed at some point on Tuesday. Until then, the football world will hold their breath and wait. While football took a back seat to this serious situation, the Dolphins did earn their first win on the season, beating the Jets 27-21 on Monday night.
