Eagles’ Landon Dickerson has found an unexpected use of his time with Browns during joint practices

Philadelphia Eagles' starting left guard Landon Dickerson appears to be taking full advantage of his injury break.

Dickerson, who underwent meniscus surgery on Wednesday, casually showed up to Thursday's joint training camp practice with the Cleveland Browns with some Miller Lites.

But perhaps the best part was that he packed them in an Eagles cooler.

Dickerson injured his right knee during the Eagles’ public training camp last Sunday, which will keep him sidelined on a week-to-week basis.

A timeline on Dickerson's return is still up in the air, but the goal is for him to be available for the Eagles’ Week 1 season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Dickerson’s been reliable as they come for the Eagles at left guard and has started 62 of the 63 games he’s appeared in for the Eagles, only missing six outings since 2021. Dickerson has also made the Pro Bowl three straight seasons from 2022 through 2024.

With Dickerson out, the Eagles have been turning to Brett Toth at left guard, though haven't named him the official replacement.

“I like that the depth that we have there," head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters on Thursday. " I think Brett’s doing a really good job and he has a lot of versatility.”

Philly also has Darian Kinnard, Matt Pryor and Kendall Lamm as fill in options.

The Eagles will face the Cleveland Browns for their second preseason matchup on Saturday, August 16 at 1 p.m. ET where fans can get a better look at Toth.
